Every year Bollywood comes up with more than 100 films. However, there are just 52 Fridays available for their release. So, clashes at the box-office are inevitable. However, not every year we see so many big movies clashing at the box-office as we will see in 2017.

Let's have a look at some of the most anticipated big budget releases of 2017 which are set to fight it out with each other at the BO:

Kaabil - Raees

The big Republic Day weekend couldn't have got any bigger with two of the most anticipated releases of 2017 coming out together. Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan's Raees are going to fight it out for the top spot on January 25.


Hindi Medium - Naam Shabana

March 31
 will see another two biggies clashing at the ticket windows. Akshay Kumar will be up with Naam Shabana, which stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead. On the other hand, Irrfan Khan will be back with Hindi Medium, in which he is paired opposite Pakistani beauty Saba Qamar.


Chef - Haseena

Saif Ali Khan will be locking horns with Shraddha Kapoor on July 14. While Saif will be up with the remake of the Hollywood flick Chef, Shraddha will hit the silver screen with the biopic on Haseena Parkar, the sister of Dawood Ibrahim.


Secret Superstar - Bhoomi

August 4
 will be another big weekend for all you movie fans as Aamir Khan will take Sanjay Dutt head on. Sanjay will be making a comeback to films with Bhoomi, and needless to say his fans are mighty excited about it. On the other hand, Aamir will bring his production venture Secret Superstar where he has an extended cameo of an uncanny yet loveable superstar singer.


Aankhen 2 - 2.0

The Diwali weekend generally calls for some big clashes every year and this year is no exception.October 19 will see 2 big films releasing. Amitabh Bachchan and gang will be up with Aankhen 2, the sequel to Aankhen (2002). Fighting it out with them will be Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar who will come together for the year’s biggest film - 2.0, a sequel to Robot (2010). It is touted to be the costliest film made in Asia.
